The Local Organising South African Committee for the 49thIFLA World Congress has chosen The City Hall to host the Congress in 2012.
Cape Town City Hall is a large Edwardian building in Cape Town city centre which was built in 1905 and opened its doors in July. It’s Italian Renaissance style and classical façade on Darling Street, the imposing clock tower built to scale and exactly half the size of London’s Big Ben
This establishment is strategically located in the middle of the city offering delegates a big choice on accommodation that is within walking distance to The City Hall.
